Steve Wiggers

Steve is the Managing Director and Lead Facilitator at SCALA. With over 17 years of experience in leadership development, he has personally trained more than 7,000 leaders across Australia. In 2025, he was named Tasmanian Trainer of the Year and is currently a finalist in the Australian Training Awards.

With a deep passion for organisational psychology and human behaviour, Steve specialises in developing leaders who can influence with confidence—translating theory into practical tools people can use immediately, whether on a factory floor, in a retail store, or in a boardroom.

Steve is also a recognised leader in AI-augmented leadership development. He builds coaching communities and programs that help leaders think with AI—using it as a thinking partner to amplify human capability, not replace it. His approach is human-centric: AI as a tool for cognitive leverage, not a substitute for critical thinking.
